About Us

Our family’s origins are from the island of Sicily and hail from a small village outside Palermo, called Cerda. Our ancestors were farmers and fishermen and lived simple lives. The food they ate was equally simple yet the ingredients were high quality and fresh. They ate the fish they had caught that very day, or made pasta using eggs from their own chickens.
At CENA, we try to celebrate this simplicity and quality. We lean heavily on fresh and whenever possible, local ingredients. The preparation of the food is simple. We believe that if the ingredients are high quality and fresh, celebrate that fact by not masking the natural flavors with sauces and by overly spicing.
